Samsung Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite's overall score of 75.4. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy S5 body has the same weight than the Huawei P20 Lite, but it is a little thicker.
Galaxy S5 counts with a better looking display than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a greater display density. Huawei P20 Lite features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 256 GB.
Galaxy S5 features a little better performance than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Huawei P20 Lite features just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 features just a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same camera aperture and a same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20 Lite. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei P20 Lite, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
