Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Huawei P20 Lite, having an 85.7 score against 75.4. The Galaxy S6 Edge construction is a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than the Huawei P20 Lite, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. These devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much sharper screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity in each screen inch and a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit better processing unit than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU.
The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller aperture, they both have the same video frame rates, a back camera with a 16 MP and the same video resolution. Huawei P20 Lite counts with a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Huawei P20 Lite has a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a couple specs and features.
