Galaxy S7 edge is slightly better than Huawei P20 Lite, having a score of 78.1 against 75.4. These devices have the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System). Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S7 edge is a older, a little thicker and a little heavier phone than the Huawei P20 Lite.
The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei P20 Lite also has a larger number of cores. The Galaxy S7 edge has just a bit better looking screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little bit higher pixel count per inch of screen.
The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge takes clearer photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a camera with a lot worse resolution, it also counts with a much larger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and a lot better (4K) video quality.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features longer battery duration than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 3600mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20 Lite. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
