Comparison review
Galaxy XCover 5 is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite, having a 78.1 score against 75.4. Galaxy XCover 5's construction is a lot newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than the Huawei P20 Lite. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy XCover 5. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Huawei P20 Lite has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a better pixels count per display inch, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a quite bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a much better memory for apps and games than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1 TB. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a battery performance that is just as good as the Huawei P20 Lite one.
The Huawei P20 Lite and the Galaxy XCover 5 count with really similar cameras, and although the Galaxy XCover 5 has a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited situations, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same resolution camera in the back.
