Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Lite's 75.4 general score. Xperia XZ2 Premium is an a lot heavier and much thicker cellphone than Huawei P20 Lite. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much sharper display than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has way more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little faster CPU than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures better photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a more mega-pixels back facing camera, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and a way higher video definition. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features superior battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up some features and specs.
