Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 is slightly better than Huawei P20 Lite, having a 77.6 score against 75.4. Xperia Z5 is a a little bit heavier phone than the Huawei P20 Lite, but both of them are 0.29inches thick. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Xperia Z5 counts with a sharper screen than Huawei P20 Lite, although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller screen.
Huawei P20 Lite counts with much more storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 256 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. The Huawei P20 Lite features just a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity against 2900mAh.
Xperia Z5 has a superior camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a back camera with lot more megapixels, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger aperture.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, resigning a couple specifications.
