Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite, getting a general score of 79.8 against 75.4. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 Premium has an older 5.1 version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Xperia Z5 Premium body is notably older, somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Huawei P20 Lite.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics processor. Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a much better 3840 x 2160 resolution.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium takes better pictures and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and video in low light situations. The Huawei P20 Lite features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better battery life than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 3430mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
