Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite, having a score of 77.5 against 75.4. Although it's the best device in this comparison, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is an older, noticeably heavier and a little thicker device than Huawei P20 Lite. The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM.
Huawei P20 Lite features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a better display density. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a slightly better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a way lower resolution back camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also counts with a much higher (4K) video quality. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a superior battery life than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 5300mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20 Lite. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei P20 Lite, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
