Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a score of 76.6, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite's score of 75.4. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 design is noticeably newer, but thicker and noticeably heavier than the Huawei P20 Lite. These phones include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei P20 Lite features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2280px resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels number in each inch in the screen. Huawei P20 Lite counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P20 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes much clearer photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a camera with a way better resolution and a bigger camera aperture. The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei P20 Lite also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a way better battery performance than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20 Lite. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Huawei P20 Lite, letting go a couple features and specs.
