Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 10, having a score of 81.4 against 78.9. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features. Huawei P20 Pro's body is a bit thinner and just a bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 10, even though they were only released 5 months apart.
Huawei P20 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a sharper display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate 10 features a bit more storage for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 has a battery performance that's just as good as Huawei P20 Pro's battery duration.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs and a way more megapixels back camera.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Huawei Mate 10, resigning some features and specs.
