Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro has a global score of 81.4, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 8's 77.4 overall score. The Huawei P20 Pro construction has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 8, but it's a bit lighter. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little greater pixel density, a little larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2240. Huawei Mate 8 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
Huawei P20 Pro takes much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in low light situations, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera with a much better resolution. Huawei Mate 8 and Huawei P20 Pro have quite similar batteries.
The Huawei P20 Pro is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes it a great choice.
