Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 has a general score of 89.1, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro's global score of 81.4. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS, so both should offer very similar OS features. Huawei Mate X2's construction is noticeably newer, but just a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier than the Huawei P20 Pro.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better performance than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480, a lot bigger display and a little higher display density.
Huawei Mate X2 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 has a little better battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 13% bigger battery size. Huawei P20 Pro takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lower 40 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and video.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Pro. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
