Comparison review
Huawei Mate Xs has an overall score of 91.6, which is much better than the Huawei P20 Pro's 81.4 general score. Although the Huawei Mate Xs is newer than the Huawei P20 Pro, it's much heavier and a lot thicker. Huawei Mate Xs counts with a little bit better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate Xs also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate Xs has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a much larger display, a much higher 2200 x 2480px resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei Mate Xs features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P20 Pro captures slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate Xs, although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same video frame rate, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video resolution.
Huawei Mate Xs features a bit better battery performance than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
