Huawei P20 Pro is slightly better than the Huawei nova 3, with a general score of 81.4 against 76.3. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P20 Pro has the older 10 version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Huawei P20 Pro is a just a little bit thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than Huawei nova 3.
Huawei nova 3's processor is very similar to the processor in Huawei P20 Pro, they have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei nova 3 counts with a display that's very similar to the display in Huawei P20 Pro, although the Huawei nova 3 also has a bit larger screen, a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Huawei P20 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a camera in the back with a lot better 40 MP resolution. Huawei nova 3 features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei nova 3 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei P20 Pro features just a bit longer battery life than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 7% more battery size.
