Comparison review
Huawei P40 is a little bit better than the Huawei P20 Pro, having an 86.4 score against 81.4. Both phones in this comparison review have the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Even though the Huawei P40 is a little thicker than Huawei P20 Pro, it's just a little bit lighter and noticeably newer.
Huawei P40 counts with a bit better performance than Huawei P20 Pro. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Huawei P40 has just a bit better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a same size display, the Huawei P40 also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei P40 features a little bit better camera than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a more mega-pixels back camera, better video frame rate and a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The Huawei P40's storage capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as Huawei P20 Pro's one, they have equal internal storage capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 is not only the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest.
