Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro has an overall score of 81.4, which is a bit better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 general score. Both phones in this review have the same Android 10 OS. Although the Huawei P20 Pro is older than the Huawei P40 Lite, it's construction is just a little lighter and just a little bit thinner.
Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P40 Lite count with really similar screens, because although the Huawei P40 Lite has a little bit lower screen density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2310 and a quite bigger display. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as Huawei P20 Pro, both have equal 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei P40 Lite. They have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei P40 Lite features just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a worse 40 mega pixels resolution camera, and they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a larger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P40 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs.
