Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Pro, having a score of 88.2 against 81.4. Both phones we are comparing here have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding operating system features. The Huawei P40 Pro is a much newer device than the Huawei P20 Pro, although it is heavier and somewhat thicker.
