Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting a score of 81.4 against 81.2. Even being the best cellphone in this review, Huawei P20 Pro is a just a bit thicker and a bit heavier cellphone than LG V40 ThinQ. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 10 OS. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
LG V40 ThinQ has a little bit better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has more pixels per screen inch, a little bit larger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. LG V40 ThinQ has a much greater memory for apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The Huawei P20 Pro counts with better battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 21% bigger battery capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher resolution and a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go some features and specs.
