Huawei P20 Pro has a global score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40's overall score of 77.2. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P20 Pro has an older 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, Huawei P20 Pro is an a lot older, a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier phone than Motorola Edge 40.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a lot better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 has a little sharper screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite inferior quantity of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite larger screen.
Motorola Edge 40 and Huawei P20 Pro count with quite similar memory capacity to store more apps and games, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity.
The Motorola Edge 40 has just a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light images and video and a back facing camera with a higher resolution.
