The Galaxy A50s is a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro, with a overall score of 86.6 against 81.4. The Galaxy A50s design is newer, just a little bit thinner and a little lighter than the Huawei P20 Pro. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so they should provide you very similar operating system features.
Galaxy A50s has a display that's very similar to the display in Huawei P20 Pro, because although the Galaxy A50s has a just a bit worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340. Samsung Galaxy A50s counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy A50s's CPU is just as good as the CPU in Huawei P20 Pro, both of them have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A50s's battery performance is just as good as Huawei P20 Pro's battery performance. Huawei P20 Pro and Galaxy A50s both feature incredibly similar cameras, because although the Galaxy A50s has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video and a smaller back-facing camera sensor, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a higher 48 MP resolution.
