Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a bit better than Galaxy Alpha, with an 81.4 score against 76.3. Despite being the best phone we compare here, Huawei P20 Pro is a thicker and incredibly heavier phone than the Galaxy Alpha. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P20 Pro has an older 10 version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has a just a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a much smaller display. The Huawei P20 Pro features a much better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Alpha's processor is just as good as Huawei P20 Pro's CPU, because although the Galaxy Alpha has 4 less cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Huawei P20 Pro captures way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a lot better 40 MP resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture to capture better images in low light situations.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh.
Huawei P20 Pro costs a bit more than Galaxy Alpha, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
