Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is better than the Huawei P20 Pro, getting a general score of 97.6 against 81.4. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10. Although the Samsung Galaxy Fold is heavier than Huawei P20 Pro, it's somewhat thinner and newer.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a little bit better screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2240px and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better number of pixels in each display inch.
Huawei P20 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 40 MP resolution and a much larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality.
Galaxy Fold features a much greater storage for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Fold has a bit better battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20 Pro. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei P20 Pro, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
