Comparison review
Galaxy S20 has a score of 94.8, which is much better than Huawei P20 Pro's global score of 81.4. The Galaxy S20 is a a bit lighter cellphone than Huawei P20 Pro, but both of them are 0.31inches thick. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S20 has a more recent 13 version and Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10 version, giving you some nice extra features.
The Galaxy S20 counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has more pixels per inch of screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a little bit larger display. Samsung Galaxy S20 features just a bit better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S20 count with extremely similar batteries duration.
Huawei P20 Pro features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with faster video frame rates and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20 Pro. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei P20 Pro, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
