Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, having a general score of 81.4 against 80.9. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Huawei P20 Pro has a more recent 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0, so it provides a lot of extra features.
The Galaxy S6 Active has a way better looking display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bits processor and a graphics processing unit.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P20 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 14 percent larger battery capacity.
The Huawei P20 Pro shoots a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a back camera with a way higher resolution, a way larger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs and a bigger aperture to take better photography in low-light situations.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S6 Active. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy S6 Active, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
