Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has a global score of 82.6, which is a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro's score of 81.4. The Xperia 1 design is newer and a little bit lighter, but also just a bit thicker than Huawei P20 Pro. The Xperia 1 has a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xperia 1 counts with a more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840, a bit bigger display and way more pixels per screen inch. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a much better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with faster video frame rates, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with a way higher 40 mega pixels resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P20 Pro counts with better battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P20 Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei P20 Pro, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
