The Sony Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro's score of 81.4. Sony Xperia 5 II is a just a little lighter cellphone than the Huawei P20 Pro, but both of them have the same thickness. Xperia 5 II features a little sharper screen than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia 5 II also has a just a bit higher pixel quantity per display inch and a bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution.
Xperia 5 II features a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 II features a little bit better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a little bit better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality, slower video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Xperia 5 II has a battery duration that is just as good as the Huawei P20 Pro one.
Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P20 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Pro, letting go some features and specs.
