Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III is much better than the Huawei P20 Pro, getting a 90.5 score against 81.4. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 5 III has 11 version and Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10, so it provides you lots of additional features and performance enhancements. Although the Xperia 5 III is a little thicker than the Huawei P20 Pro, it's a little lighter and also a lot newer.
The Xperia 5 III features a bit better CPU than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 III also has more RAM memory. Xperia 5 III has a bit better display than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia 5 III also has a little bit higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a little bit greater pixel density.
Xperia 5 III features much more memory to install applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has lower video frame rates, a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs and a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for capturing images and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a camera with a much better 40 mega pixels resolution.
Sony Xperia 5 III has just a bit better battery performance than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
