Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro, with an 83.3 score against 81.4. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences regarding OS features. Xiaomi Mi 8 is a a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner phone than the Huawei P20 Pro, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution and a quite larger display. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro. Both of them have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Huawei P20 Pro counts with superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei P20 Pro counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same aperture, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a lot more mega pixels camera and a lot larger sensor.
