Huawei P20 Pro has a global score of 81.4, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's global score of 77.7. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, the Huawei P20 Pro design is just a little bit thicker and a little heavier than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but Huawei P20 Pro has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Huawei P20 Pro both have very similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a little bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution and a bit larger display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's storage for apps and games is just as good as the Huawei P20 Pro one, they have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro features improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei P20 Pro takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a way larger sensor taking much better quality videos and photos, a camera with way more mega pixels and a bigger aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments.
