Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a global score of 81.4 against 77.5. The Huawei P20 Pro is a newer and somewhat lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it is also a little thicker. Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2240 pixels resolution and a quite higher count of pixels in each inch in the display.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB. Huawei P20 Pro has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a larger aperture, a much better resolution back camera and a much larger back camera sensor which provides a much higher photo and video quality.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features superior battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
The Huawei P20 Pro is more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
