Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Huawei P30 Lite's 77 general score. Huawei Mate 8 is a older, heavier and a little thicker phone than Huawei P30 Lite. Huawei Mate 8 has a little faster processor than Huawei P30 Lite. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM.
Huawei P30 Lite counts with a little bit better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit higher 1080 x 2312px resolution, a quite higher pixels density and a bit bigger screen. The Huawei Mate 8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, although it has a much lower 16 MP resolution back camera, a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light photos and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
