The Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is better than Huawei P30 Lite's overall score of 77. The Huawei P40 Pro body is newer, but somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than the Huawei P30 Lite. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei P40 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a slightly better 1200 x 2640 resolution, a bit higher pixels count per display inch and a bit bigger screen.
Huawei P30 Lite counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro features longer battery performance than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
Huawei P40 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures, a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution.
