Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Huawei P30 Lite, with a global score of 83 against 77. Both of these phones come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features. Even being the best cellphone we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Huawei P30 Lite.

The Galaxy Note8 has a little better processing power than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Note8 has a bit sharper display than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a better pixel quantity per inch in the screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a little bit larger screen.

The Huawei P30 Lite has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note8, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note8's battery performance is just as good as the battery duration in Huawei P30 Lite, although the Galaxy Note8 has just 3300mAh of battery size against 3340mAh.

Galaxy Note8 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a lot tinier back camera sensor which gives a way lower image and video quality and a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video definition and a bigger diafragm aperture.

Even being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is also cheaper than the Huawei P30 Lite, which makes this phone a very good choice.
