Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than Huawei P30 Lite, with a overall score of 82.2 against 77. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, we must note that it's also much heavier and a lot thicker. Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features an incredibly better screen than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a way higher screen pixels density. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures better pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have a same size aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Huawei P30 Lite has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better battery life than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P30 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P30 Lite. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei P30 Lite, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
