Comparison review
The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has an overall score of 85.9, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 general score. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has the older 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Although the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is incredibly older than the Asus ROG Phone 8, it's body is a bit thinner and lighter.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better looking display than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a quite inferior number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite bigger display. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a lot better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking photos and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a more MP back-facing camera.
Asus ROG Phone 8's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition one, both have the same 256 GB internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with improved battery lifetime than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
