Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a general score of 85.9, which is a bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Pro's global score of 83.4. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13. Despite of the fact that the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is a lot older than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, it's design is a bit thinner and just a bit lighter.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with a little bit better display than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bigger display. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition and the Motorola Edge 40 Pro count with similar storage capacity to store more games and applications, they have equal 256 GB internal storage. Motorola Edge 40 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a larger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality, a much better video definition and a better 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
