Huawei P30 Pro is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting an 82.1 score against 78.7. Huawei P30 Pro's construction is much newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The Huawei P30 Pro features a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Huawei P30 Pro both count with really similar memory for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P30 Pro shoots way better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P30 Pro also has a much better 40 mega pixels resolution camera, a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a way bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Huawei P30 Pro features a little longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5% more battery size.
