Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than Huawei P30 Pro, having a score of 88.2 against 82.1. Huawei P40 Pro is a newer phone than Huawei P30 Pro, but it is just a bit thicker and a bit heavier. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P30 Pro, because it has a little bit higher 1200 x 2640 resolution, a bit larger display and a just a bit higher pixel density.
Huawei P30 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro have quite similar storage for applications and games, both of them have the same internal memory. Huawei P40 Pro features a bit faster CPU than Huawei P30 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei P40 Pro's battery lifetime is just as good as Huawei P30 Pro's battery duration.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a camera in the back with more mega-pixels, a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality photos and videos and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
