The Galaxy M40 has a score of 85, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P30 Pro's global score of 82.1. Galaxy M40 is a a little thinner and lighter phone than the Huawei P30 Pro, even when both were only released with a few months difference. The Huawei P30 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy M40 feature really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit greater screen pixels density.
Huawei P30 Pro features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy M40 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P30 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P30 Pro shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Huawei P30 Pro also has a more mega pixels camera in the back, a lot larger sensor providing a way higher image quality and a larger camera aperture to take better photography in low light environments.
