The Sony Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than the Huawei P30 Pro, getting a score of 87.2 against 82.1. Sony Xperia 5 II is a newer cellphone, and it's also a little bit thinner and lighter than Huawei P30 Pro. The Xperia 5 II has a bit faster CPU than Huawei P30 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 II also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia 5 II features a little bit better display than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a just a bit greater count of pixels in each inch in the display. Xperia 5 II counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Huawei P30 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
