Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III has a global score of 90.5, which is better than Huawei P30 Pro's 82.1 general score. The Xperia 5 III design is much newer, lighter and a little thinner than the Huawei P30 Pro. The Xperia 5 III has a little sharper display than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a just a little better pixels density.
Sony Xperia 5 III features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P30 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1 TB. The Xperia 5 III counts with a bit faster CPU than Huawei P30 Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 5 III also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 III features a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P30 Pro, because it has a 7 percent bigger battery size. Huawei P30 Pro has just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P30 Pro also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low light situations and a back camera with a much higher 40 mega-pixels resolution.
