Comparison review
The Huawei P30 Pro is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, having an 82.1 score against 79.8. Huawei P30 Pro's body is newer than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium's, but it is a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker. The Huawei P30 Pro features just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P30 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better display than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840px resolution and a way greater count of pixels per screen inch. The Xperia XZ Premium has just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Huawei P30 Pro shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P30 Pro also has a larger camera aperture, a way bigger back camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality and a lot more mega-pixels camera.
Huawei P30 Pro features greater battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 30% greater battery size.
