Huawei P30 is a little bit better than Google Pixel, with a global score of 81.7 against 80.2. Even though the Huawei P30 is somewhat heavier than Google Pixel, it's somewhat thinner and also notably newer. Huawei P30 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
The Huawei P30 and the Google Pixel count with quite similar displays, because although the Google Pixel has a little bit smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Google Pixel counts with as much storage for apps and games as the Huawei P30, both of them have the same internal memory.
Huawei P30 has longer battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has a 3650mAh battery capacity. Huawei P30 takes better pictures and videos than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P30 also has a lot larger back camera sensor which provides a much better image and video quality, a back camera with lot more MP and a larger aperture.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Google Pixel, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
