Comparison review
Huawei P30 has an overall score of 81.7, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 score. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. The Huawei P30 design is newer, somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than Huawei Mate 10. Huawei Mate 10 features a more vivid display than Huawei P30, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a little bit better display density.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with just a bit more memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P30, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei P30 has just a little better performance than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P30 also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate 10 features just a bit longer battery duration than Huawei P30, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3650mAh. Huawei P30 shoots greater photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P30 also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei P30, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some specs and features.
