Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is slightly better than the Huawei P30's 81.7 score. Despite being the best in this review, the Huawei Mate X is a much thicker and incredibly heavier phone than Huawei P30. These phones have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P30 has Android 10.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei P30, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a lot larger display and a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels. Huawei Mate X has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P30, because it has 384 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X has a bit superior CPU than Huawei P30, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM. Huawei P30 has a lot better camera than Huawei Mate X. They have a same resolution camera, a same size aperture and the same back-facing camera sensor size. Huawei Mate X has improved battery life than Huawei P30, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3650mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P30, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P30. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei P30, letting go a couple specifications.
