Comparison review
Huawei P30 is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Lite, with a score of 81.7 against 79.5. These devices work with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. The Huawei P30 is an older device than Huawei P40 Lite, but it is a little lighter and thinner anyway.
Huawei P30 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite higher pixel quantity in each inch in the display. Huawei P40 Lite features as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as Huawei P30, both of them have equal internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P30 has a little better processing power than Huawei P40 Lite. They have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM. Huawei P40 Lite counts with a little better battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3650mAh. The Huawei P30 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a less MP back facing camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Huawei P30 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei P30, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning a couple specifications.
