Comparison review
The Huawei P30 has a score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ's overall score of 81.2. Huawei P30 is a just a little lighter cellphone than the LG V40 ThinQ, but both have the same thickness. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so they should give identical operating system features.
LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P30. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. LG V40 ThinQ features a bit sharper screen than Huawei P30, because it has a higher pixel density, a little bigger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
Huawei P30 captures much clearer photos and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P30 also counts with a much bigger sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality and a much better 40 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P30, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. Huawei P30 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has an 11% greater battery size.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V40 ThinQ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy LG V40 ThinQ, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
