Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is just a bit better than OnePlus 8 UW, getting a global score of 81.7 against 75.9. Although the Huawei P30 is older than OnePlus 8 UW, it's design is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these devices work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a just a little inferior pixel amount per inch in the display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a quite larger display. The Huawei P30 and the OnePlus 8 UW feature very similar storage to store more apps and games, both have the same 128 GB internal storage.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit better processing power than Huawei P30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 UW also has more RAM. OnePlus 8 UW shoots slightly better videos and photos than Huawei P30, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing worse quality pictures and videos, and they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with faster video frame rate and a camera with a better resolution.
OnePlus 8 UW features longer battery duration than Huawei P30, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P30 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes buying this phone an easy decision.
