The Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is slightly better than Huawei P30's general score of 81.7. Both phones we compare here have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M30 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P30 has Android 10 version. Despite being the best in this review, Galaxy M30 is a just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker device than Huawei P30.
Huawei P30 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels amount per inch of screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. Huawei P30 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy M30. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount.
Samsung Galaxy M30 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P30, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P30 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy M30, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a back-facing camera with way more megapixels, a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low-light situations and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures.
The Galaxy M30 has a much better battery lifetime than Huawei P30, because it has a 37% bigger battery size.
