Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Huawei P30, getting a global score of 83 against 81.7. Although it's the best phone we are comparing, we must note that it is also an older, somewhat heavier and thicker phone. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P30 has Android 10.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little sharper display than Huawei P30, because it has a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution, a little bigger display and a just a bit better amount of pixels in each inch of screen. Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better storage to store more games and applications than Huawei P30, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

The Huawei P30 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note8. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Huawei P30 has a better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P30 also counts with a back facing camera with way more MP and a way larger sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality.

Huawei P30 features a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 3650mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
